Modern Orthodox Rabbis In Los Angeles Seek To Certify Business Ethics
My first thoughts when I heard about this plan.
I hope the execution of this plan is more effective than some of the spelling in this new letter: "PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL INFORMATION SHARED WITH THE PEULAT SACHIROR ANY OF ITS REPRSENTATIVES WILL BE HELD IN THE STRCTEST OF CONFIDENCE. THE CERTIFRICATION AGREEMENT WILL RFLECT THIS IN WRITING."

Rabbis Strike Briefly At Agriprocessors
POSTVILLE — About 50 rabbis charged with supervising the kosher slaughter and processing of meat at Agriprocessors walked off the job Wednesday morning.
The rabbis reportedly took the action because of a decrease in pay since a May 12 immigration raid caused the meat processing plant to drastically reduce production.

Rubashkin Meat Scandal Worse Than Thought
The Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained 390 illegal immigrants May 13, 2008 in the largest single-site immigration raid in US history. The raid took place at Agriprocessors, Inc., the nation’s largest kosher meatpacking plant, located in the tiny town of Postville, Iowa.
