AUSTRALIA’S Orthodox rabbis gathered in Sydney late last month for the biennial National Rabbinic Conference.
And over the course of the two-day conference -– arranged by the roof body Organisation of Rabbis of Australasia (ORA) -– a number of resolutions were passed.

Australia's Chabad Leader Dies
THE leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in Australia, Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Groner, died on Monday morning after a lengthy illness.
It is expected that he will be buried in Israel alongside members of his family, but a memorial service will be organised in Melbourne in his honour.
