<p align="left"><span style="font-size: xx-small; font-family: Verdana;"> Although Rabbi Weiner was born in New York, he grew up in  		Southern California. After high school he attended 		<a href="http://www.huji.ac.il/huji/eng/">Hebrew University of Jerusalem</a> and <a href="http://www.csumb.edu/">California State University,  		Monterey Bay</a>, where he received his B.A. in 2000. While at CSUMB he  		founded and led a Jewish Student Union and also became the director of  		Camp Gan Israel of Chabad of South Bay.</span></p>
<p>After graduating college, Rabbi Weiner returned to New York for six  		years where he received his rabbinical training. He attended 		<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohr_Somayach,_Monsey">Yeshiva Ohr  		Sameach</a> in Monsey for two years, followed by 		<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeshivat_Chovevei_Torah">Yeshivat  		Chovevei Torah</a> for four years. During his time at YCT he served as a  		rabbinic intern at <a href="http://www.ahavasachim.org/">Congregation  		Ahavas Achim</a> in Highland Park, New Jersey, and the 		<a href="http://www.hir.org/">Hebrew Institute of Riverdale</a>. Rabbi  		Weiner earned his Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah in  		2006 as well as an additional Ordination from 		<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zalman_Nechemia_Goldberg">Rav  		Zalman Nechemia Goldberg</a> in Jerusalem. Rabbi Weiner also earned a  		Masters degree in Jewish History from the 		<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Revel_Graduate_School_of_Jewish_Studies"> Bernard Revel Graduate School</a> at Yeshiva University in 2006.</p>
<p>Rabbi Weiner has published articles in the <em>Journal of Halacha and  		Contemporary Society</em>, <em> <a href="http://www.yctorah.org/content/blogsection/8/53/">Milin Havivin</a></em>, 		<em><a href="http://www.jewishlifela.com/">Jewish Life: Traditional  		Living in Los Angeles</a></em>, as well as the West Coast OU?s weekly  		Parsha Insights.</p>
<p>Rabbi Weiner&#039;s wife Lauren is from Los Angeles and is a fantastic mother  		to their children, Kayla Rachel and Yaacov Melech.</p>
